Nathan Gehri

Nathan GehriAt the age of 14,  Nathan Gehri’s music career began when his dad snuck him into a venue so that he could play his first professional gig. Nathan continued to grow as a musician through playing in local bands, at school and church. After high school, Nathan moved on to become the principal seat bassist for the Wind and Jazz ensembles at the University of Alabama. While a student at the University of Alabama, Nathan studied bass from Alabama Hall of Fame Jazz Musician, Cleave Eaton, and University of North Texas director of jazz studies and bass professor,  Lynn Seaton. After graduating from the University of Alabama, Nathan moved to Nashville to begin performing and recording with numerous artists. Nathan currently tours  with  Grammy nominated artist John Hiatt.
