Jonathan Rogerson

Jonathan RogersonBeing born into a musical family Washington DC native Jonathan Rogerson was exposed to music from an early age. Studying piano with his mother at age 5 he later discovered his love for guitar after plunking around on one of his father’s. By high school he was already teaching and playing professionally. He attended college under a full scholarship for guitar performance.

Before moving to Nashville in early 2012 Jonathan was a staple of the East Coast jazz scene. He has shared the stage with a range of artists from R&B icons Isaac Hayes and Jill Scott to jazz saxophone legend Gary Thomas to the National Symphony in Washington DC. He has been an active studio guitarist appearing on numerous albums and commercials. Since moving to Nashville he has maintained an active studio career and performs with Brandon Young.
