Ellen Angelico

Ellen AngelicoBorn in Chicago, Ellen Angelico cut her teeth in the town’s historic blues scene. Blues led to jazz, which led Ellen to Berklee College of Music in Boston. While at Berklee, Ellen garnered many honors including being one of only 6 female guitarists in the history of the Guitar Department to be featured at the department’s Guitar Night showcase.

Ellen caught the country bug at Berklee and after graduating and a tour of Europe with fingerstyle guitar master Sasho Zver, Ellen moved to Nashville. In Nashville, Ellen has played multiple instruments with a wide variety of acts, including playing bass for indie rock veterans The Winter Sounds. Ellen now plays guitar, mandolin, and banjo for all-girl, country/rock powerhouse Mustang Sally.
