Adrian Walther

Adrian WaltherBorn and raised in Toronto, Adrian Walther was immersed in a musical family where he developed his love for music at a young age. His father, a guitarist, still plays English and Irish folk songs that have inspired a generation of music lovers within the family. A self-taught musician, Adrian began playing the piano and quickly moved his way through various instruments such as bass, guitar and drums.

Touring and recording by the age of 18, his career brought him to reside in Vancouver, B.C., Nashville, and Chicago. This nomadic lifestyle has allowed him to travel to over 18 countries and work for over 25 artists: writing, performing, and working in the studio. Throughout his 15 years of experience, he has had numerous television performances and worked on two Grammy-nominated albums.

In search of other musical avenues, Adrian found a love for synth programming, which allowed him to operate a new vehicle for writing music. In 2005, he began a series of scores for independent films, several of which were submitted to international film festivals. With influences spanning from The Beatles to Beethoven, Adrian’s arrangement and composition styles reflect his diversity and flexibility. He has finally been able to combine his pop sensibility with his classical appreciation, creating a wide palette of musical textures
